MyLife Opt-Out: How to Remove Your Listing

MyLife aggregates publicly available information from government, social and other sources, plus personal reviews written by others, into profiles on its site. You ask for removal through its "Deletion and Opt Out of Sale of Personal Information" form, which says any profile listing that matches your information will be permanently removed.

What it asks you to verify

The form requires your state, name, city, ZIP code, an email address checked with its "Email Validator" and your birth year, plus a human check. MyLife says these details help it remove the correct record when several profiles share the same or a similar name, and that it emails a confirmation when the deletion is complete.

How long it takes

The form says requests are processed within the legally required time frames. MyLife's privacy policy says it responds to state privacy-rights requests within 45 days, which it may extend once by another 45 days.

What the opt-out covers

MyLife says any profile listing on its website that matches your information will be permanently removed, and it will unsubscribe your email and delete any accounts registered with that email. Its privacy policy notes that some portions of a removed profile may remain in its backup systems.

Opting out of one site rarely clears every listing: the same records appear on sister sites and new profiles can appear later. Media Removal handles data broker removal for executives, public figures, family offices and companies, and reviews each case before recommending a route.
