PeopleFinders Opt-Out: How to Remove Your Listing

PeopleFinders is a people search site that shows records compiled from public records and other publicly available sources. You ask for removal through its free opt-out page: you request an emailed link, then fill in a record suppression form that matches the record you want removed.

Official opt-out page: peoplefinders.com

What the opt-out covers

PeopleFinders removes the record that matches the details you submit; if the information is incomplete, it may not find every record about you. Removal applies only to its own site, not to the original public sources or other websites.

If your listing comes back

PeopleFinders says it regularly receives new public records, so your information may appear again in the future, and it recommends refreshing your opt-out request periodically. The Record Suppression Form adds that if you give incomplete information and it later receives new data linked to a record it could not identify, that information may reappear on the site.

Privacy rights you can use

Depending on your state, you may have rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale of your personal information. Members of the public can use the opt-out form or call (877) 551-9688, and can appeal a decision through PeopleFinders' appeal form or the same number.
