Pre-construction and condo forum threads
Buyers compare projects on forums and Reddit. A thread calling a developer or a building a “scam” can rank for the project name during the sales launch.
In Miami, many buyers, investors and partners meet you on Google before they ever meet you in person, often from another country. We remove what breaks platform rules, suppress what cannot come down and rebuild what they find when they search your name.
Get a free assessmentA large share of Miami business is done at a distance. In the Miami Association of Realtors’ 2025 survey of its members’ international sales, foreign buyers spent $3.2 billion on residential property in Miami-Dade, and 69% of the foreign buyers in the survey lived outside the United States, against 44% nationally. Someone deciding from Bogotá or Buenos Aires cannot drive by the building: they read the reviews, the forums and the news.
The same is true beyond property. The Miami-Dade Beacon Council lists finance, trade and logistics, life sciences and healthcare, technology, aviation and the creative industries among its target sectors, all of them trust-driven. For agents, brokerages and developers, see real estate reputation management, and for how local providers compare, our guide to the best reputation management companies in Miami.
Several sources raise concerns about [Your Name], citing complaints1 and disputed claims2.
Every market has its own pattern. In Miami, these are the results clients bring to us most.

On a brokerage or property manager profile with few reviews, two fake one-star reviews can set the score. Reviews from people who were never clients can be reported and removed.
Agents move, and the old Google Business Profile, with its reviews, keeps ranking for their name. A profile you no longer control can be removed from Search and Maps.
A story about a lawsuit, a failed closing or a hospitality incident can follow a name for years. Florida’s pre-suit notice and retraction rules shape how that conversation with a publisher starts.
Viral clips and comment threads can turn one bad night into page one for a venue or a public figure. For personal brands, see celebrity reputation management.
This is general information, not legal advice. Media Removal is not a law firm, and for a decision about a lawsuit you should speak with a licensed Florida attorney.
An action for libel or slander in Florida must be filed within two years. For a single publication, such as one edition of a newspaper or one broadcast, the claim is treated as arising when the statement is first published in Florida. [1] [2]
Before suing over libel or slander published or broadcast in a newspaper, periodical or other medium, the plaintiff must serve written notice at least five days before filing, identifying the statements claimed to be false. If the statement was published in good faith, its falsity came from an honest mistake of fact and a full and fair correction or retraction runs in time, the plaintiff can recover only actual damages. The statute does not say whether it covers online-only publications. [3] [4]
Florida bars lawsuits filed without merit and primarily because the defendant spoke on a public issue. The court must hear the motion at the earliest possible time and award reasonable attorney fees and costs to whichever side prevails on it, and since a 2025 court rule change an order denying the motion can be appealed right away. [5] [6]
Unlike most states, Florida still has a criminal libel statute: publishing a libel is a first-degree misdemeanor under Fla. Stat. § 836.01. The statute does not define the elements of the offense and its continued validity is uncertain, so in practice reputation cases run through civil claims and platform rules. [7] [8]

For ongoing reputation management, the first month is contingent on the strategy we deliver in week one. If you do not see the path forward, you do not pay.
Often, yes. Reviews from people who were never clients, reviews posted by competitors and reviews that break the platform’s rules can be reported and taken down. On a thin profile, removing even two fake reviews can change the score buyers see first.
For statements in a newspaper, periodical, broadcast or other medium, Florida requires written notice at least five days before filing, and a timely correction can limit damages. Whether that applies to online-only outlets is not settled. Speak with a licensed Florida attorney before you send anything.
Platform rules apply wherever the post was written, so a fake review or a defamatory thread can be reported whatever its language or origin. Tell us where the content is and who it reaches, and your assessment covers each link.
Tell us the date and we plan backward from it. Removals depend on the platform and the grounds, so your assessment gives a realistic estimate for each link. Suppression is an SEO-driven process: many results move within a few months, while deeply entrenched content takes longer, so starting before a launch matters.
