Employer reviews at large operations
Back offices, service centers and headquarters hire at volume, and a false or non-compliant review can top the employer brand. Glassdoor removes reviews that break its own guidelines.
Tampa Bay is home to banks, insurers, corporate headquarters and the defense community around MacDill Air Force Base. We remove what breaks platform rules, suppress what cannot come down and help protect the people behind the brand from harassment and exposure online.

It describes the region as home to MacDill Air Force Base and a veteran workforce of 80,000.
Those are sectors where clients check a firm’s reviews before signing, candidates check Glassdoor before accepting and some employees have good reason to keep their home address off the internet. Our Tampa work leans on reputation management for financial services and executive reputation management, and on Florida’s harassment and privacy laws when a case turns personal. Tampa cases are handled from our office in New York City.

Some cases are about a brand’s score. Others are about one person’s safety and privacy.

Advisors, insurers and consultancies are judged on their score. A handful of reviews from people who were never clients can pull it down, and those can be reported and removed.
Executives, contractors and service members can find their address, family or phone number posted next to their name. People search sites and posts that publish it to threaten someone can be challenged.
Digitally altered sexual images of real people spread fast on social platforms. Florida now requires covered platforms to remove reported depictions within 48 hours of a valid request.
A former employee’s post, a lawsuit story or a forum thread can follow a leader into every board meeting and acquisition talk.

Florida defines cyberstalking as a course of electronic communication directed at or about a specific person, or accessing their online accounts without permission, that causes substantial emotional distress and serves no legitimate purpose. Willfully, maliciously and repeatedly cyberstalking someone is a first-degree misdemeanor, and with a credible threat it becomes aggravated stalking, a third-degree felony. [1]
Under Florida’s cyberintimidation by publication law, it is a first-degree misdemeanor to post another person’s personal identification information online intending to incite violence or a crime against them, or to threaten or harass them so that they reasonably fear bodily harm. [2]
Posting a sexually explicit image of someone with identifying information, without consent, is sexual cyberharassment, and victims can sue for an injunction and damages. A separate law makes it a felony to create or maliciously share realistic digitally altered sexual depictions of an identifiable person without consent, and requires covered online platforms to remove reported depictions within 48 hours of a valid request. [3] [4]
The Florida Digital Bill of Rights gives Florida consumers the right to ask a covered business to delete personal data about them. It covers only very large companies, with more than $1 billion in global annual revenue that also meet one of three further tests, such as earning at least half their revenue from online ads. Many people search sites are unlikely to meet those thresholds, so removal from them usually runs through their own opt-out processes. [5] [6]

We can request removal from the people search sites and platforms that publish it, and many of them have opt-out processes. We do not promise it will disappear from everywhere, because new sites can republish public records. When someone posts it to threaten you, Florida law may treat that as a crime, and that report is for the police.
Some can. Glassdoor removes reviews that break its own guidelines, for example when they are defamatory, reveal confidential information or come from someone who never worked there. Honest negative reviews usually stay, and we tell you which ones can come down before any work begins.
